Impact100 Mobile members gathered in festive style on Tuesday, January 13, at the Mobile Carnival Museum to celebrate the organization’s fifth birthday and kick off the 2026 membership season. The Mardi Gras–themed evening honored the spirit of giving, growth, and community that has defined Impact100 Mobile since its founding.
2024–2025 President Rena Davis welcomed attendees and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their dedication and support over the past five years. She reflected on how the collective generosity of members has allowed the organization to grow and make meaningful contributions to the Mobile area.
Incoming 2026–2027 President Stacy Cummings highlighted a major milestone in Impact100 Mobile’s history—the ability to award two grants in 2025 for the first time since its inception. In November 2025, the organization presented two $75,000 grants to Feeding the Gulf Coast and Prichard Preparatory School, marking a significant expansion of Impact100’s philanthropic reach.
Attendees had the opportunity to hear from representatives of both grant recipients. Cyndy Baggett, from Feeding the Gulf Coast, shared how food insecurity in the Mobile area has reached an all-time high. She explained that their $75,000 grant will help expand the organization’s Theodore warehouse, enabling them to better serve families in need. Portia Green, from Prichard Preparatory School, spoke about the importance of keeping children safe while learning. Their grant will be used to enhance campus security and ensure a secure environment for students.
The evening concluded with members joining together to sing “Happy Birthday” to Impact100 Mobile and enjoy fellowship, food, and celebration in true Mardi Gras fashion.
